from the cycle States of Matter
SCULPTURE
States of Matter is a cycle of ceramic sculptures in which I continue my exploration of capturing moments of immersion in the structures of nature. It is a record of a personal process - a dialogue with material, but also of constant observation of myself and my own condition.
The cycle is diverse in form, ranging from massive, rounded shapes to organic branch-like structures, as well as almost ephemeral, openwork constructions.
